Yes, it is difficult to get admission in IIM Bangalore. With it being one of the top IIMs, the admission chances are very slim. Only those who clear the high cutoff can get a seat in flagship PGP programme. Students have to clear not only the cutoff, but also the selection rounds to get admission. But with the right planning and practice, students can join the institute.

Students have to meet the IIMB course eligibility to get admission. The eligibility requirements may change depending on the programme and specialisation. The common eligibility is as below:
- IIM Bangalore UG eligibility – Class 12 with relevant subjects
- IIM Bangalore PG eligibility – UG degree in relevant field
- IIM Bangalore PhD eligibility – PG degree in relevant field

No, students can't get direct admission in IIM Bangalore. The institute accepts students strictly through entrance basis. Students have to clear the selection rounds to get admission in the institute.

Students have to submit some documents during IIM Bangalore admissions and applications. The general list is as below:
- Class 12 marksheets & Certificate
- UG/PG degree marksheets and Certificate
- Entrance exam scorecard & admit cards
- SOP - if applicable
- Aadhaar card or other identity proof
- Caste certificate - if applicable
- Recommendation letter (for Executive courses)
- Passport-size photograph
- Transfer Certificate
- Migration Certificate - if applicable

IIM Bangalore Digital Business and Entrepreneurship entrance test result will be announced tentatively in second week of August 2026. Candidates who will appear for the IIMB DBE entrance test 2026 will be able to download the scorecard online when released.

IIMB DBE entrance test is conducted for a duration of 90 minutes or one hour thirty minutes. The examination is administered in computer-based test mode. IIM Bangalore conducts the IIMB DBE entrance test in offline mode in July.

IIM Bangalore Digital Business and Entrepreneurship entrance test is conducted once in a year. The examination is scheduled tentatively in Third week of July 2026. Candidates must stay updated with the important dates to appear for the exam. Candidates can also apply for BBA in Digital Business and Entrepreneurship (DBE) programme through CUET UG and JEE Main scores.
