To get a call from any IIM, you typically need a high CAT percentile along with a strong academic profile, work experience, and meeting category-specific cut-offs. For top IIMs (A, B, C), 99+ percentile is required for general candidates, while newer IIMs may accept 90–95 percentile. Reserved category candidates can expect calls with lower percentiles (75–95). Clearing sectional cut-offs and excelling in WAT-PI rounds are also essential. Aiming for 98+ percentile ensures better chances for older IIMs, while 90+ can secure newer IIM calls.

- Yes, you are eligible to apply for the IPM course at IIMs (like IIM Indore or IIM Rohtak) as a commerce student without Mathematics in Class 12.
- However, you will need to prepare well for the Quantitative Ability (QA) section of the IPMAT entrance exam. While you may not have studied Math in school, focusing on self-study or coaching classes for the IPMAT will be key to your success.
