Normally, you can take the CAT exam without having to apply individually to other colleges or IIMs. A common entrance exam for many management colleges, including IIMs, is the CAT exam. Take the Global Institute of Business Studies (GIBS) as an example. Though not as well-known as IIMs, GIBS provides a variety of management programs with an emphasis on real-world experience and business ties. A separate applic

London School of Economics and IIM Institutes are very well-known institutions worldwide and have their own strengths as well as weaknesses. According to the QS World University Rankings 2026, LSE London has secured the spot #56 in World University Rankings. Whereas, IIMs are unranked in this category. On the basis of world workings, LSE University in London has an upper hand.

Admission to IIM Visakhapatnam is conducted through CAT percentile. As per the cutoff released, 92 percentile was qualifying cutoff for CAT to get an admission into IIM Visakhapatnam. With the growing competition, it is assumed that 92 percentile won't get a selection in the upcoming admission sessions. So, getting a percentile of more than 92 is crucial. Check out 2023 CAT cutoffs:

Yes, you can surely pursue a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme from the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs).

It is very much important to note that the IIMs primarily offer postgraduate programs such as the Master of Business Administration (MBA) and Executive MBA. Some IIMs do offer a five year integrated BBA+MBA programme, which allows students to complete their undergraduate (BBA) and postgraduate (MBA) degrees in a combined course of study.

Good Luck!

Hello there,  The eligibility criteria for IIM is 50% in any graduation. But the admissions are based on the CAT percentile along with an interview. You need to score 95+ percentile marks to secure your seat in IIM.

Your admission to IIM's is not only dependent on your performance in 10th,12th and graduation but also your on your performance in CAT, GMAT. So you will have to get a good score in CAT entrance exam preferably 90-95+ percentile. This score will help you in getting shortlisted by IIM.

An applicant's chances of being admitted into an Indian Institute of Management (IIM) are enhanced by scoring in the 99th percentile on the Common Admission Test (CAT). However other factors that affect admissions include prior academic performance, work experience, and performance in subsequent rounds such as the Written Ability Test (WAT) Group Discussion (GD), and Personal Interview (PI).

Because of their holistic evaluation process, which takes academic consistency into account, getting into older, more prestigious IIMs (like IIM Ahmedabad, Bangalore Calcutta) may be difficult, with 57% of students in Class 10th and 51% in Class 12t
