I don't know about the reservations, but for admission in a good NIT, you don't have to wait for the JEE Advanced score, you can get admission to the college by getting at least 250 marks in the JEE Mains exam.

Rank near to 1500 in general-PWD category can get you a seat in NITs for OBC and SC/ST PWD category marks required are even slightly lesser.

For IIT, it is 75% and is the easiest part of it. If you want to join IIT, you need to crack JEE Mains and JEE Advanced as a good rank in advanced can get you a seat in IIT. Though you must be eligible for NIT if you get your expected marks, but to get a seat there, you need to perform well in JEE Mains.

Yes, you can appear for IIT-JEE examination after the completion Diploma of engineering or in the last year of Diploma. Through this examination you will be able to take admission in IIT in first year of engineering like a 12th pass students. You can choose any branch of engineering irrespective of your branch of engineering in Diploma. But it will be better for you if you choose the branch in IIT related to your branch in Diploma. Yes, you are eligible as NIOS is also a recognized board.

Hello Ishan,
There is no need to repeat your 12th since you passed in all the subjects, you can prepare for the improvement examination next year along with your JEE preparation, this will save your 1 precious year and yes will be eligible for IIT-JEE.

Hi Harsh, For making your improvement exam marks in consider with your admission application, you need to appear for all the subjects in the consecutive year. You can't just sit for one or two subjects. And if you have appeared for all the subjects again in the next year, BITS will definitely consider your candidature. All the best.

Your call for GD/PI seems fair. As far as placements records are concerned, we do not have exact figures to share. However, the placement for 2017 batch was pretty good and better than the previous years. Highest and lowest packages were better this year than previous. All the best.
