IIT Guwahati JEE Advanced cutoff 2024 was released for admission to various courses such as BTech/Integrated BTech/BArch. The JEE Advanced Counselling 2024 concluded after Round 5 of the Seat Allotment results for General, OBC, SC, ST, EWS, and PWD categories. IIT Guwahati BTech cutoff 2024 for the Last Round closing ranks varied between 623 and 9178. B.Tech. in CSE was the toughest course for the students belonging to the General AI category.

IIT Guwahati Cutoff 2024 was concluded for admission to BTech courses at IIT Guwahati. The Cutoff was released categpry-wise in the form of opening and closing cutoff ranks. The last-round closing ranks for the General AI category ranged between 623 and 9178. The most competitive course to get into the college was BTech in CSE; and the least competitive among all the courses was BTech in Biosciences & Bioengineering.
For the OBC AI category candidates, the last-round cutoff ranged between 364 and 4051. The toughest course for the OBC AI was also BTech in CSE and the easiest one was BTech in Biosciences & Bioengineering.

Students pursuing BTech from IIT Guwahati can participate in the placement drive of the institute. IIT Guwahati recorded 100% placements across all BTech courses in 2024. Both IIT Guwahati and IIT Kanpur offer strong M.Des programs with IIT Guwahati known for prominent faculty and labs (ergonomics, usability) and IIT Kanpur offers interdisciplinary flexibility and good placements (especially in UI/UX).
