The IIT Indore MSc cutoff 2024 has been released for Round 1, wherein, M.Sc. in Biotechnology is the most competitive specialisation with a closing rank of 48 for the General AII India category students. The least competitive course is MSc in Physicswith a cutoff rank of 404. So, candidates seeking admission to any of the MSc courses must secure a rank up to 404 to be eligible for IIT Indore.
IIT Indore admission to the MSc course is based on IIT JAM scores, followed by the IIT JAM counselling process. Only candidates on the JAM 2024 merit list based on M.Sc score card will be eligibile for admission.

Founded in 2009, IIT Indore is a government institution. The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has granted the institute approval and the University Grants Commission (UGC) has recognised it. According to NIRF 2023, IIT Indore is rated 14th in the Engineering category. Additionally, NIRF 2023 ranked the college 28th in the Overall category.
