IIT Indore has been offering BTech courses based on JEE Advanced scores. According to IIT Indore JEE Advanced cutoff 2023, the candidates should focus to aim between 1385 and 10994 for the General AI category candidates. Similarly, if we talk about OBC AI quota, the candidates need to aim between 448 and 4684 in 2024. Further, for Mathematical and Computing course, the required rank stood at 1319 for the OBC AI quota.

In 2024, JEE Advanced exam was conducted for the admission to BTech courses for various All India quotas. Considering the IIT Indore JEE Advanced cutoff 2024, the aim should be to come under 500 bracket. It will filter out most of the competition when you acquire this much of rank. Further, if we talk about the IIT Indore CSE cutoff 2024, the rank stood at 649. Similarly, for the General AI quota, the CSE cutoff stood at 1389.

IIT Indore offers BTech in CSE course based on JEE Advanced scores. Among all the courses, CSE remained the most demanded course over the years. Considering the IIT Indore cutoff 2024, the CSE last-round cutoff stood at 1389 for the General AI category candidates. Comparing the 2024 CSE cutoff with previous year, an increase in the CSE cutoff has been seen over the years. The CSE cutoff increased from 1204 in 2022 to 1385 in 2023 for the General AI category candidates. Candidates can find below the CSE cutoffs for five years from the table below:

You can get all branches available at IIT Indore in the first round if you belong to the General AI category. The IIT Indore JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for various BTech course specialisations.
Also, it doesn't matter if you belong to the state of MP since IIT Indore releases the cutoff for All India quota only.
For the General AI category, the first round cutoff ranged from 1639 to 13479. See the table below to know the IIT Indore branch-wise cutoff 2026.

The IIT Indore CSE cutoff 2026 was only released for round 1 so far. The cutoff was announced for BTech CSE and other branches for different All India quota categories.
Among all categories, the PWD category had the toughest competition. See the table below for the cutoff for other categories.

No, it is necessary to take the JEE exam. Aspirants need to appear for JEE Main followed by JEE Advanced and secure a valid All India Rank (AIR). Based on students' AIR, the conducting body calls students for JoSAA counselling and carries out the allotment process. There is no other provision for admission to the BTech course. To seek admission to the BTech course at IIT Indore, candidates must visit the official website of the National Testing Agency (NTA) and fill out the application form in online mode for JEE Main.

IIT Indore is good and I'm satisfied with my college placements and really good infrastructure. Placements: In my course last year, the average package was about 12–14 LPA.
