Direct admissions are not possible for courses offered at IIT Kharagpur. The accepted entrance exams are JEE Advanced,  JEE Main, and others. Candidates who have missed the JEE Main exams must not worry. These candidates can apply again the next year. There are various types of scholarships offered to the students on the basis of merit and financial need.
