Although the cutoff will be calculated after the declaration of results but according to past trends, cutoff for General students was around 90 percentile, so assuming this year the same trend will be followed. However getting addmission in good institute doesn't depends on only CAT score. You need to score good marks in class 10th and 12th and graduation as well. Personal interview plays a major role for getting admission.

I don't know about the placement scenarios for PhD from TIFR Bombay, but for IIT Kharagpur, pursuing PhD can be a very good choice, as IIT Kharagpur has Top Research facilities. if you want to do research, you will get the best resources of the country, and also many PhD students get placed during the Campus placement cycle, so there are various Job opportunities. And, a PhD from IIT KGP is flexible than any other institute.

No, JIPMER scores can't be accepted at IITKGP because, JIPMER are related to medical scores. For admission in IITKGP for humanities is through Humanities and social Science entrance exam.

The IIT Kharagpur accepts JEE Advanced exam for the admission to BTech and BTech Integrated courses. Taking into consideration the IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2023, the JEE Advanced cutoff for B.Tech. (Hons.) in Computer Science and Engineering programme stood at 277 for the General AI category candidates. To check category-wise cutoffs, candidates can check out the table below:

Sorry, but you didn't mention the course or Exam you are preparing for, as you know IIT Kharagpur is so big not because of its Campus size only but also because of Courses offered by it there are B.Tech courses, B.S, B.Ed courses, B.A courses, MBA, Law etc. also medical school is also opening in IIT kharagpur, so for just your clarification for JEE advance is required to get admission in Engineering courses, but if have any other query please reply to this answer I will clarify it

IIT Kharagar is among the top 4 colleges of India and this is the oldest IIT. Academically its very good and all other kinds of facilities are available here. IIT Kharagpur has best culture among and it has the biggest and most beautiful campus.

Prospective students can access the Integrated BSc (Hons) + MSc in Economics at IIT Kharagpur by passing the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Advanced). Candidates must pass the JEE Advanced before they can take the Joint Admission Test for IITs and other premier institutes through their JAM Economics examination.
