IIT Indore is ranked 16 according NIRF rankings, IIT Mandi 20 and IIT Ropar 22, And extra curriculars at IIT Indore is much better than IIT Mandi and Ropar
so IIT Indore is definitely better than Ropar and Mandi.

Preparation Tips for IIT JEE:
1- Learn NCERT First. Start with NCERT books, which are the base for IIT-JEE.
2- Choose the Right Reference Books.
3- Learn Online like NPTL lectures, and Youtube.
4- Revise Daily and Clear Doubts.
5- Try to Solve More of JEE's Previous year's question papers.
6- Give Mock Tests regularly.
7- Make short notes for revision, It is very important.
8- Positive Attitude.
9- Try to practice or study from day 1.

Only do two things if you have one month left.

  • Purchase topic wise previous year Questions books of JEE Mains and Advanced with detailed solutions. Make sure book is divided topic wise. Solve each and every question and SEE solutions. Don't make notes or read books. Only make formulae and concept sheet. Whenever you think you need to read book. Just read it and don't read entirely or make notes. Completing questions is your target.
  • Daily solve one dpp sheet. There are many DPP sheets available online. Daily solve one for each subject. Only one. And whatever questions you can't do. SEE their solutions. Make sure in one month you atleast g
