For students belonging to the General AI quota, most of the BTech branches remained open till the last round for admission at IIT Roorkee. The cutoffs of different branches vary across rounds and categories. Some of the BTech branches, such as CSE, ECE, Civil, and Mechanical, etc., reflected a rise in the last round, closing ranks as compared to initial rounds, indicating IIT Roorkee seats remained vacant till the last round for BTech admission. Whether the branch will remain open till the last round or not depends on the availability of seats allocated for each category. In the meantime, candidates can check out the round-wise cutoff

Aspirants must keep in mind that exam difficulty level cannot be determined by organising IIT. JEE Advanced paper is not made by one single IIT; but it is prepared by experts from multiple institutes. Difficulty level of exam is independent of the IIT conducting exam.
