Scores required for admission to IIT Roorkee depend on the course in which the student is interested. Admission to BTech, BSc, and various other UG courses is based on the JEE Advanced exam, while admission to MTech, BDes, and MSc is based on the scores obtained in the GATE, UCEED, and IIT JAM exams, respectively. The official CAT percentile required for admission is not visible to the public, but only to those with login credentials who appeared for the exam. As per the estimated IIT Roorkee CAT cutoff 2025 for the General AI category, 95 percentile overall and 50 percentile sectional was required for admission.

IIT Roorkee will release the GATE cutoff along with the announcement of results. The GATE 2025 results will be released on March 19, 2025. Candidates can access their results on the GOAPS portal using their enrollment ID and password. 

IIT Roorkee will announce the GATE 2025 final answer key is expected to be released within two to three days after receiving the GATE challenge responses. In order to apply for a BTech course, a candidate must have passed your Class 12 (or equivalent) examination with a minimum of 75% aggregate marks (65% for SC, ST, and PwD) from a recognised board, and have Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects.
