Both IIT Palakkad and NIT Tiruchirappalli are one of the top-ranked institutions present in India. NIT Tiruchirappalli is ranked eighth by NIRF 2022 under the Engineering category whereas, IIT Palakkad is ranked 68 by NIRF 2022 under the Engineering category.
