I am saying so because I feel that your percentile is below the cut off levels that have been published by National testing agency. Hello SSD, this question keeps cropping up again and again in different forums and even in the courts of law. However at least till now all the challenges to this rule of 75% in board has with held and continuous to rule the roost. This rule is in vogue for many years now and it was relaxed only during the covid times when normal schooling was disrupted due to the pandemic. There are many cases when students have scored quite handsomely in JEE Mains but they have failed to secure 75% marks in there 12 board and as a result they were unable to compete in JEE Advanced examination. In one of the extreme cases which has come into the LimeLight in last few days one girl had committed suicide since she could not score 75% in her board exam but has scored a percentile of more than 90 in JEE Mains examination. This of course is very tragic case and should be avoided at all cost since not getting admission in IIT is not the end of the world. Best wishes to you.

If you are planning to appear for the JEE Main 2023 examination, your admission will be based on the JEE Main 2023 score. The improvement exam conducted by CBSE in July 2023 will not affect your JEE Main 2023 score, as the JEE Main 2023 examination will be conducted in early 2023.
