Hello SSD, this question keeps cropping up again and again in different forums and even in the courts of law. However at least till now all the challenges to this rule of 75% in board has with held and continuous to rule the roost. This rule is in vogue for many years now and it was relaxed only during the covid times when normal schooling was disrupted due to the pandemic. There are many cases when students have scored quite handsomely in JEE Mains but they have failed to secure 75% marks in there 12 board and as a result they were unable to compete in JEE Advanced examination. In one of the extreme cases which has come into the LimeL

If you are planning to appear for the JEE Main 2023 examination, your admission will be based on the JEE Main 2023 score. The improvement exam conducted by CBSE in July 2023 will not affect your JEE Main 2023 score, as the JEE Main 2023 examination will be conducted in early 2023. However, if the CBSE improvement exam result is declared late and you are unable to submit the result at the time of JEE Main 2023 counseling, you may have to submit an undertaking or provisional result Certificate at the time of counseling. You can contact the JEE Main conducting authority or the counseling authority for more information on the documentation

IIIT Allahabad provides Undergraduate, Postgraduate, and doctorate degrees. IIIT Allahabad is known for its BTech programme. IIIT Allahabad accepts JEE Mains scores followed by CSAB counselling for the BTech programme. The seat allotment is through JoSAA and CCMT counselling for BTech and MTech. In order to get admission into the UG courses, the candidate must meet the IIIT Allahabad JEE Mains cutoff. IIIT Allahabad Cutoff depends on various factors like the number of seats in the courses offered by the institute, the number of candidates who appeared, and the difficulty level of the entrance examination.

No, Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) do not consider 12th marks for admission to their master's programs. Admission to master's programs at IITs is usually based on the candidate's performance in the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering GATE or any other relevant national-level entrance exam, followed by an interview or group discussion GD round, depending on the institutes admission criteria. However, it is always recommended to check the specific admission requirements for the programme of interest on the respective IIT's official website.

However, admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) is highly competitive, and the cutoffs vary each year depending on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam and the number of applicants. While IITs do have reserved seats for students from Scheduled Castes (SC), the cutoffs for SC candidates can still be quite high. To increase your chances of admission to an IIT, you will need to perform exceptionally well in the subsequent stages of the admission process, particularly in JEE Advanced. JEE Advanced is the next level of the entrance exam after JEE Main and only the top candidates from JEE Main are eligibl

Congratulations on your rank! Based on your rank in the OBC category, you may have a chance to get into some of the NITs for CSE. However, it may be difficult to get into IITs for CSE with this rank. To get CSE in top 5 IITs, your rank should be under 250. Rank under 700 gives CSE branch in all AVERAGE IITs. Rank under 100 gives CSE in IIT Delhi. And rank under 60 gives the best thing possible in India: CSE Branch in IIT Bombay. I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any other questions.
