Yes, it is a good book, but only for physics and not for overall IIT JAM preparation.

Hello Kanishka,
From this year onwards, NTA the agency conducting the exam of JEE Mains, will be declaring results in percentile form and the AIR will be given only after second set of exam results are announced in April or May. Till then nobody can predict how things will move. Roughly about 3lakh students will be allowed to sit for JEE Advanced the exam which will determine the admission to IIT. Hence, patience till then. Best wishes to you.

Diploma in software engineering is three years duration course, which can be done after 10th. So, why you want to waste your valuable three years. Further, there is no need to do any such Diploma courses before going for IITs/NITs because you will not get any benefits for this course in the admission. Hence it is better to strongly focus on JEE-Main-April and Advance syllabus for better options.

I can only say that a job is not a bad choice too. But if you really want to go forward with your education and you really have that learning spark towards any field then you should pursue that first. If you really want to learn about things in a particular field then go ahead for that. Here, I can say that go ahead with M.Tech plan. A job is a thing which you can do after PG too.
