No, you cannot get admission in IIT after qualifying ICAR. You need to qualify JEE Advanced exam to get into IIT.

Yes, you can. The eligibility for IIT JAM is to have a minimum of 55 percent (for general category) in Bachelor's degree and 50 percent (for reserved categories). For more details, you may refer the link below:

Yes, you can pursue a PG course related to polymer science but you have to crack the exam so that you are eligible to take admission.

Getting admission in IITs will be based on rank, as we can't assure how other students who appeared have performed. So, If you are like less than 3000 AIR, then you can get admission in any one of the top IITs.
