My 12th marks are 72%. Can I get admission in any of the IITs after qualifying JEE Advanced?

Hi Ankit,
Yes, you can get admission in IITs after qualifying JEE Advanced with 72% marks as minimum qualifying marks in boards exam is 70% so you can easily get admission.

I have got 96.54 percentile under EWS category. Can I get CSE or ECE in top NITs or IITs?

Yes, you can get this branch in most of the colleges like IIITs and NITs but be careful while choosing the college. All the colleges are not good, even some GFTIs are better than the NITs and IIITs.

After 12th boards, you will not be having enough time to prepare for JEE. Therefore, it is better to join a coaching institute after 10th boards itself, so that you can comfortably prepare and it will not be very hectic also.

See, for getting into the IITs, the main important thing is passing in all the subject rather than having good aggregate marks, but yes, your ward can get good IITs if he fulfills this criteria and also the gets this good score.

IIT JAM is an entrance exam conducted by different IITs every year for admission in M.Sc Programme and Integrated Ph.D in different IITs. It is online exam, conducted in February every year. Students who are in TYBSc or completed B.Sc can eligible to apply. Age limit is 25 years approximately.

You want to build your career in lectureship then you have to complete your Ph.D because Ph.D will be mandatory for assistant professor post in universities from July 2021.

It is indeed very heartening you know that you have get your aim of seeking admission in IIT Vadodara. This is very good since setting up of the aim is one of the important things in life. But as you know the minimum marks required in class 12th will be 75% for seeking admission in IIT.
