Salary offered to IIT, IISc and IIST Aeronautical/ Aerospace Engineering graduates is generally similar. IIT Mumbai grads may have slight edge over other Institutes grads.

You are advised to appear for CAT exam to seek admission in MBA in IITs. Admission in IITs for MBA is competitive, therefore, you may start your CAT preparations immediately. If you are not confident of cracking CAT with self preparations then you may seek external coaching to crack CAT.

Legacy IITs and IISc are on par with each other in term of faculties, faculty, academic environment, R&D infrastructure etc. However, branch wise ranking of IITs and IISc differs.

Admission in all branches of engineering is tough in IITs as JEE Advanced is very competitive, To get chemical engineering is relatively easier in comparison to computer science and ECE branches.

IIT is one of the good college who offers B.Tech to students who really deserve IIT so you have to prepare for IIT for 2 year more as you can give the exam after completing your class 12th so right now you should focus on your studies.

Your board result does not decide that u can or not. The only dependency is how you perform in advanced so focus on that and prepare well for the some.
