Hello Himanshu Raj Gupta,
The first and the main thing to clear IIT exam is you should learn all basics of Physics, Chemistry and Maths deeply.
Try to understand each and every step so that you can solve any equation and maths problems.
Stick on NCERT Books as they are the best for preparation.

Yes, we all prepare for the exams but if we know the result we get lazy that I should compete or not.
Yes, it is a big question that if I am not qualified it then what happens my in there are many exams other than IIT in which you score more or many private colleges are also good for engineering such as SRM, BITS, VIT, and many more, you try for these colleges also.

Hello Amit,
A lot of people still believe in the myth that pursuing B,Tech from IITs and NITs only can land them up in a decent job and you are no exception. I would like to let you know that there are a number of private colleges providing quality education and placements which are at par with the government institutes, and in some cases, even better than government institutes. Hello Pani,
The fee in different IIT's is different and we're not raised for many years. These days, almost all IITs have enhanced their fees. In IIT, Mumbai it is approximately Rs. 65k per semester.

You can surely try this year for IIT-JEE Mains. For clearing Advanced you need to have 75% in class 12th or to be in the top 20 percentile. You can take a drop of 1 year, but you need to be very dedicated and committed towards preparation. Constant tests will give you an idea about your performance.
