Yes, you can take admission in IITs after your Diploma through lateral entry program. You have to check the eligibility criteria. For lateral entry, there is an entrance exam required or some IITs have on merit basis also.

Hello,
If you want to clear IIT entrance exams, then you should prepare for IIT JEE or IIT JAM test. These exams are considered as very tough exams in India. You have to work hard to prepare for these exams. You should solve previous year question papers to get a perfect idea about the exam and exam pattern.

Both are national importance engineering institute but they have different entrance exam for admission. Like as in nit, JEE main and in IIT, you need to crack JEE advance.

Salary of engineering graduate from legacy IITs will be average around Rs.8 lakhs. Salary may vary in different branches in different IITs.

1) Beware of using too many reference books.
2) It can help you to score more by indexing topics in order of priority or weightage they carry in JEE Mains and Class XII board exams.
3) Revise, practice using previous year papers of IIT JEE.
4) Time management is an important factor in JEE Mains. So, while solving model JEE question papers, keep an eye on your watch too. If solving a question is taking too much time, move on.

An expert panel "Committee of Eminent Persons", constituted by the IIT council and headed by Ashok Mishra, the committee has suggested that JEE Mains and JEE Advanced be combined into a single engineering entrance exam. But there is no final decision announced on this subject by MHRD yet.

IITs does not offer degree courses on BCA or B.Sc in CS. You are advised to appear for JEE to do B.Tech CS in any of the IIT. You may refer to academic programs offered by IIT Indore: http://academic.iiti.ac.in/academicprogram.php
