It's good to hear that you have such a high ambition in your career. As you have set your ambition so high, so you should also be aware that you need to work really hard. You should understand the basics of physics, chemistry, mathematics and computers that you will be learning in class 11th and 12th.

In India, there are multiple type of the technical institutes such as:
1. Central Government Funded Institutions.
2. State Government/ State Funded Institutions and
3. Self-Financed Institutions.
IIT, NITs, IIITs, IISC, IISER, NITTTR and nine other specialized technical educational institutes are CFTIs. All these have been formed to provide excellent technical education and have their own standing.

B.Tech CSE is the most sought after branch by IIT aspirants. Placement record of CSE graduates from IIT is excellent. CSE graduates from IITs can easily get admission abroad for higher studies. Robotics is a developing interdisciplinary course. I will recommend that you can do MS/ M.Tech in robotics after CSE graduation. You can prefer CSE over robotics at graduation level.

For admission into IITs and NITs, you have to appear JEE Mains as well as Advanced. There is no other gateway for admission.
