The exam pattern of IMU CET is as follows -
UG-
Subject - English, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics (12th Grade / Plus 2 level/Intermediate/Equivalent level).
Medium of Exam - English
Total Questions – 200
Total Duration of exam – 3 hours
Negative marking - 0.25 marks for every wrong answer
For MTech
Subject - Logical Reasoning, Mathematics and one of Mechanical Engineering/Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering/Civil Engineering
Medium of Exam - English
Total Questions – 120
Total Duration of exam – 2 hours
Negative marking - 0.25 marks for every wrong answer

The IMU CET Syllabus is as follows -
UG Technical Programs (B.Sc. NS, B.Tech. ME, B.Tech. NAOE, B.Tech. NASB, DNS): English, General Aptitude, Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics
MBA Programs (MBA PSM & MBA ITLM): Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, Verbal Ability, Reasoning
PG Technical Programs (All M.Tech): English, Mathematics, and one of Mechanical Engineering / Civil Engineering / Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture & Ocean Engineering

Passport size photograph and scanned Signature of student
10th and 12th Standard Mark Sheet (wherever applicable)
UG Degree Mark Sheet / Certificate (wherever applicable).
Category Certificate in respect of SC / ST / OBC (NCL) candidates.
Economically Weaker Section Certificate in respect of General EWS Candidates.
NCC Certificate (if applicable)
Special State / Nativity Certificate (if applicable)
MEO-I / COC Certificate (Applicable for M.Tech candidates who are Seafarers).

Yes, SC/ST candidates get concessions in registration fees, and age relaxation is provided for OBC and SC/ST categories students. Reservations include 15% for SC, 7.5% for ST, 27% for OBC (non-creamy layer), and 10% for General-EWS. IMU also has a special state reservation scheme
For NCC cadet students, they can get mark concessions: 5% for the 'C' certificate, 3% for the 'B' certificate, and 2% for the 'A' certificate

As per IMUCET eligibility criteria, the age limit for students applying for B.Tech, B.Sc, B.B.A and DNS courses is below -
Minimum age: 17 years
Maximum age:
For Male: General - 25 years, OBC (NCL)-28 years, SC/ST-30 years
For Female: General - 27 years, OBC (NCL)-30 years, SC/ST-32 years.
No age limit for students from M.tech, M.B.A. and M.Sc program
For PG graduate Diploma course in Marine Engineering -
Maximum age : Male : For General-28 years OBC (NCL)-31 years SC/ST-33 years.
Female : For General-30 years OBC (NCL)-33 years SC/ST-35 years

UG Courses - Candidates must be at least 17 years old and have completed 10+2/equivalent with a minimum 60% average in PCM and at least 50% marks in English in Class 10 or 12.
PG Courses - Candidates with a B.Sc. or B.Tech. degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Naval disciplines are eligible to apply for PG programs.
