No, CUET UG scores are not compulsory to get admission into the BBA course at IMU Kochi. The campus accepts scores of Class 12 for admission. As per the scores candidates achieved in Class 12, the college releases the merit of shortlisted candidates. Thus, candidates can get admission to the BBA course at IMU Kochi with decent scores in Class 12. Hence, only Class 12 exams are mandatory.

The admission process for both IMU Kochi and VELS University is almost similar for admission to the BBA course. Firstly, candidates are required to complete their Class 12 with decent scores, and the admission process is based on merit. Moreover, at IMU Kochi, the campus also grants admission based on Class 12 scores for admission confirmation.

The total tuition fee for the BBA course at the Academy of Maritime Education and Training is INR 6 lakh. Additionally, the total tuition fee for the BBA course at IMU Kochi is INR 3.1 lakh. The total tuition fee for BBA at IMU Kochi is more affordable than at the Academy of Maritime Education and Training. The number of lists for admission to IMU Kochi's BBA programme is based on the number of seats offered. The third list might not be made public if there are no seats left after the second list. After the third, additional lists may be released at the Competent Authority's discretion and based on seat availability. The lists can be made public via the current online counselling system.

The total seat intake for the BBA course at IMU Kochi is 30. All these seats are offered in one specialisation i.e., Logistics, Retailing and E-Commerce. To get a seat in this programme, canddiates must complete their Class 12 from any stream with at least an aggregate of 50% and 50% in English at the Class 10 & 12 levels. Additionally, for the selection process, the university accepts the Class 12 scores for merit.

The online application form for the BBA course at IMU Kochi consists of completing five steps, namely basic details, personal details, academic details, document upload, and online payment. Candidate has to complete all these steps. Once the online payment is successful, candidates dashboards will appear, from which they can download the filled-in application for reference and record.

The application fee for BBA courses must be submitted after filling out the application form with the required details. The application fee is non-refundable. The application fee for different categories is mentioned below:
For BSc Programmes:
- INR 200 for General /General-EWS/ OBC (NCL) candidates
- INR 140 for SC / ST candidates

According to the information available on the recent prospectus of IMU Kochi, the date of commencement of online registration of applications for the BBA course was started on March 1, 2025. Currently, the admissions for the BBA course have been closed. Moreover, the classes for the BBA course are going to start on August 1, 2025.
