Yes, the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) cut-off can change between counselling rounds.

Cut-offs often shift because:

  • Some seats remain vacant after a round.
  • Candidates may withdraw or change their preferences.
  • Demand for certain colleges/courses changes when higher-ranked candidates move to better options.

As a result, in later rounds, some colleges may admit candidates with higher (numerically larger) ranks than in earlier rounds, while others may still close at better ranks if demand stays high.

AP EAMCET cutoff will not be the same every year. It changes based on factors like the difficulty level of the exam, the number of candidates, seat availability, reservation policies, and student preferences in that year's counselling. Because of these variations, the last rank admitted for a course and college can go up or down compared to previous years.

Yes. You can use the previous year Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) cutoffs to estimate your chances of admission in specific colleges and courses. They give you a reference for the approximate rank needed for your preferred options. However, you should treat them as guidelines, not guarantees, because each year's cut-off changes based on factors like exam difficulty, number of candidates, and s eat availability. For best results, compare 2–3 years of closing ranks to spot trends before filling your web options.

Yes, the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) cutoffs are released separately for the Engineering stream and the Agriculture & Pharmacy stream.

This is because:

  • The two streams have different exam subject combinations (Maths for Engineering vs. Biology for Agriculture/Pharmacy).
  • They have separate counselling processes and seat allotment lists.
  • Colleges offering these courses differ, so their seat availability, competition level, and category-wise last ranks also vary.

As a result, you'll find distinct cut-off rank lists for each stream after every counselling round.

You can check the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) cutoff on the official counselling portal eapcet-sche.aptonline.in/EAPCET. The Andhra Pradesh State Council of Higher Education (APSCHE) publishes college-wise, course-wise, and category-wise cut-off ranks after each round of seat allotment. You can view or download the PDF from the “College-wise Allotment Details” or “Last Rank Statement” section for your stream (Engineering or Agriculture & Pharmacy).

Yes, there is a difference between the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET (EAPCET) qualifying cut-off and the admission cut-off:

Qualifying Cutoff – This is the minimum score you need to pass the Andhra Pradesh EAMCET exam and be eligible to receive a rank. For OC and BC candidates, it is 25% of the total marks (40 out of 160). For SC/ST candidates, there is no minimum qualifying mark, but they must still appear for the exam to be considered in the ranking.

Admission Cutoff – This is the last rank admitted to a particular course and college in a specific category during counselling. It changes every year and varies by stream, college, and reserva
