As an Indian, the biggest factor to consider is that MBA abroad does not offer campus placements. One on hand the top-10 colleges in India (IIMs/ISB etc) all offer spoon feeding in terms of placements, so 100% of their students land up a respectable salary even before their MBA completes. This can make a huge difference to your financial life if you will study by taking student loan and not on your parents money. This job security you can only get in IndiaNo where else!
The rest of the world on the other hand, offers better MBA programs and their reach is also bigger (worldwide) so you end up making yourself a global citizen. They make you self-sustainable. So, do not expect to get you any jobs. That is your responsibility and majority of the people do not get pre-placement. You dont have that kind of time to manage an MBA, part-time job to arrange finances & at the same time job hunting. So, students actually start job hunting after completing their MBA. This can be a little luck depending. So, you can take anywhere between 36 months to land up a dream job after you complete your MBA.
