At present, any engineering programme offered through distance learning mode is not approved by AICTE, the statutory regulator for technical courses in the country. So go for a regular one. All the best.

no I don't think you will get a better college. you need to prepare for one more year for JEE and other engineering exams.

Acc. to your advance rank you will surely get IIT with good branch but you have to check out for 12th % cutoff of your board in accordance to IIT
