IIIT Kottayam has a strong curriculum and with good placements and growing campus environment. The curriculum is industry-oriented and updated, and the faculty are highly qualified and supportive. The the highest and average package grabbed by students in 2025 was INR 50 LPA and INR 11.91 LPA. The institute has a permanent campus and is expanding its infrastructure and facilities. If we talk about the cons the institute does not have much disadvantages as compared to other institutes. The institute also offers various UG, PG for working professionals, and doctoral-level programmes across multiple specialisations in the field of engineering.
