IIIT Kottayam tuition fee costs around INR 1.3 L – INR 11.6 L. This is exclusive of other components such as examination fee, application fee, hostel fee, security deposit, etc. It is taken from the official website, but is subject to change. Hence, it is very moderately costly.

Admission criteria to IIIT Kottayam is both, merit and entrance based and is different for all UG and PG programmes. To get into UG programmes, the eligibility criteria is the minimum aggregate in Class 12 or equivalent, along with entrance exams. Similarly, the eligibility criteria to get into PG programmes is graduation in any discipline, along with entrance exams for a few courses.

IIIT Kottayam OBC JEE Main cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final round cutoff list. For this category, the cutoff varied from 11253 to 77080. According to the last round, the BTech CSE (AI and Data Science) branch was the toughest to get admission to, with a rank of 47287.

IIIT Kottayam B.Tech cutoff 2025 was concluded with the release of the final round of cutoff list for all India categories. For the General AI category, the overall cutoff varied between 33766 and 50277 for the B.Tech. CSE course.
For the OBC AI category, the overall cutoff range fell between 12621 and 69089. On the other hand, for the SC AI category, the closing cutoff varied from 8468 to 220942. Please note that the other categories will have different cutoffs.

Yes, the B.Tech curriculum at IIIT Kottayam includes fundamental Science courses, including Physics and Chemistry, as part of their "Basic Sciences" category in the first two years of the foundation courses.
