IISc Bangalore considers JEE Advanced scores for admission to BSc and BTech programmes. JEE Advanced is usually conducted in May every year. Once the exam is conducted, the conducting IIT releases response sheet and provisional answer key. Once the JEE Advanced results are out, JoSAA Counselling starts.

You must give the JEE Advanced or NEET UG Exam for admission in IISC Bangalore.
JEE Advanced ranks- for general category: 2,264-4301, EWS- 978, OBC-3073, SC- 770, ST- 616
NEET UG- very few seats, general category should aim for AIR 600.

No, If you didn't take Mathematics in your 12th standard you cannot apply for the undergraduate programme at IISc Banglore.
There are no alternative pathways or exception for students who didn't take maths subject.

Yes, from 2011 onwards, 4 years Bachelor of Science (Research) programme is offered at IISc. The candidate must have studied Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics in +2/12thStandard. In addition, the candidate need to qualify in one of the national tests - KVPY/ IIT-JEE (Main) or (Advance)/ NEET.
