For last year, the closing rank for Bachelor of Architecture (B.Arch.) was 19296 which is very close to this range. This was for general category under All India quota. Unless the candidate belongs to some other category or domicile, one cannot afford to score less than this. With this rank, there is a probability of getting admission however since, the cut offs keep changing year on year, it is advisable to try to score better ranks to increase your chances of getting admission in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi.

Opening and Closing rank depends on the category and quota of candidates. For general category under All India, opening rank was 11555 and closing rank was 13157. Cut off are different when it comes to other categories or female candidates and even domicile of home state. In All India, opening and closing rank for female candidates was 16619 and 21195. Admission to Integrated B.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering + M.Tech. in Biomedical Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi is based on the scores obtained in the entrance exam JEE. For 2022, cut off was 13109 for General category candidates in All India quota for B.Tech. in Ceramic Engineering in Indian Institute of Technology, BHU, Varanasi. For female candidates in general category under All India quota, 21128 was the closing rank. B.Tech cut off varies depending on the category and domicile/quota of the applicant.

Both are good branches but chemical has slightly upper hand from civil because reseach scope in chemical is more. As far as IT companies are concerned, both are equal but in case of further studies especially in MS, Chemical has better opppotunities.

IIT BHU Ceramic is better than all choices given by you, since all choices are core branches and non circuital branches so it’s better to go with IIT tag, and placements in IIT BHU are awesome. You can sit in all IT companies with wonderful track record of median packages.

As per the annual report 2022, more than 21,000 students of BTech, IDD, MTech, MPharma and PhD students were placed. However, 534 students received paid internship during internship 2021-22. Apart from this, a total of 554 students were placed in 2020-21. For better understanding, students can follow the table below:
