Along with the application form, certain documents have to be submitted. The aspirants are required to submit scanned copies of below-mentioned documents while filling IIT Delhi application form in online mode:
- the latest passport-size photograph
- First and last pages of Aadhar Card/ Voter ID Card/ Passport
- PAN Card
- Admission offer letter
- Entrance exam scorecard
- Qualifying degree certificate
- Qualifying exam mark sheet
- Category certificate (only in case of candidates belonging to SC/ ST/ OBC/ EWS/ PwD category)
- No objection certificate (only in case of part-time applicants)

The total course fee is a cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, medical fees, transport fees, etc. IIT Delhi PhD tuition fee for full-time course is INR 7,500 per semester. In addition, PhD (part-time/sponsored) programmes is INR 17,500. The hostel fee for PhD candidates is INR 13,250. Some other fee such as students distress fund scheme (each semester) of INR 400 and insurance scheme (yearly) fee of INR 500 may also be added in the fee. Further, the fee mentioned here is taken from IIT Delhi 2023 prospectus.

Yes, IIT Delhi accepts GATE/CEED/UGC/CSIR/DBT/ICMR entrance exam scores for admission to different specialisations offered under the IIT Delhi PhD programme. Candidates shortlisted based on the exam score can be called for an interview round by some of the departments. The accepted exam can vary depending upon the chosen PhD specialisation.

For IIT Delhi PhD admission, candidates need to meet the minimum eligibility criteria set by the institute. Master degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Science/ Humanities or equivalent in relevant stream with a CGPA of 6.00 on a 10-point scale or 60% aggregate is the basic eligibility criteria for PhD admission. Eligible candidates can apply by filling out the application form by visiting the official website. The selection is based on merit in CSIR-NET/GATE followed by an interview round.

The cutoff trend for B.Tech at IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology has been increasing in the recent years. In 2022, the closing rank for B.Tech. under general category for all India quota was 102. In 2023, it increased to 118. Likewise, the cut off ranks have changed from 87 to 105 for OBC, 34 to 49 for SC, 18 to 24 for ST, 28 to 34 for EWS, 8 to 9 for PWD. This trend is likely to continue in the coming years, as the demand for engineering education in India continues to grow. Similar cut off trend can be seen for female candidates under all categories however the ranks are slightly different.

IIT Delhi - Indian Institute of Technology will release 6 rounds of JEE Advanced cutoffs for admission to B.Tech. The cutoffs will be released on a rolling basis, and the seats will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. The cutoffs will be based on the following factors:
The JEE Advanced score of the candidate
The category of the candidate
The number of seats available in the course
Candidates must visit the official website of entrance exam to read clear instructions on how to proceed with the counselling process, once the round is released.
