A total of 1,200 offers were made and 1,150 students were placed after the Phase 1 placements 2025. In addition, more than 50 international offers were made during IIT Delhi Phase 1 placements 2024-25. International offers came from more than 15 organisations across multiple global regions including Netherlands, Japan, UAE, South Korea, Taiwan, United States and United Kingdom.

50 students received domestic offers with package more than INR 1 crore per annum during the IIT Delhi placement drive 2023. Further, the highest international package offered during IIT Delhi placements 2023 stood at INR 2.5 crore per annum.

IIT Delhi overall average package 2023 data is not released yet. Earlier, according to IIT Delhi Engineering NIRF report 2024, a fluctuating trend was witnessed in the median package offered over the past three years during IIT Delhi UG 4-year placements whereas a fluctuating trend was witnessed in the median package offered during UG 5-year and PG 2-year placements, which is presented below:

Yes, IIT Delhi is a good institute for MSc aspirants. The institute has got a good overall rank from NIRF in the 2023 rankings. It has been ranked at the third spot among top colleges in the country. Moreover, IIT Delhi also provide placements support. As per its 2023 placement report, the median package offered to PG (2-year) candidates was INR 12.50 LPA. Some of the top companies that participate in its placements drive are Microsoft, Cisco, Accenture, etc.

After completing MSc from IIT Delhi, candidates are open to placement opportunities. As per IITD NIRF report 2023, the median package offered to PG (2-year) candidates was INR 12.50 LPA.
