The admission is not based on he overall scores but it is based on the cut off marks out of 200 in PCM. If you have this cut off score above 195, then you can get IT in Anna University.

Rather than focusing on such thing, you should also appear for JEE Mains, which is going to be conducted in April, because if you don't give the exam in April, then there are chances of falling down your rank, as competition is going to increase much this time.

Your rank should be under 45000 to get this college in CSE branch, for IT, it should be better than 60000 in JEE Mains.

If your scores are really good in JEE Main exam or any engineering entrance exam, then you must surely go for BE IT. But, B.Sc CS is also a good option if you want to complete your UG in 3 years and start earning quickly. The decision is purely on the basis of your score and your interest. All the best.

Hi, Mathematics is a compulsory subject for getting into IT field. If you didn't take Maths as a subject in your junior college, you're not eligible for this course. Some colleges do allow, but there the eligibility criteria is that only Science stream students can apply as it's a scientific field. Hope this helps.

Getting a seat in IT is possible though can't be sure about CS. CS cutoff in DTU is quite high. The cutoff for IT is also high but finger crossed. You stand a chance. Good Luck.
