As a fresher, life at Maharishi Arvind Institute of Engineering and Technology is quite good. Students receive a warm welcome from their seniors and teachers. Those students who plan to stay in the university hostel feel happy staying there.
Also the university has an Anti-Ragging Cell with the college premises having strict laws against the student found guilty of any act such as abusing, assaulting, threatening, teasing and embarrassment to new students, hence survival at Maharishi Arvind Institute of Engineering and Technology for freshers is as comfortable as for the seniors.

There are offcial placement stats availabe on the website. According to the students' reviews on the Shiksha page, the institute has only 30% placements record annually. The the highest and average package offered during the recent MAIET placements was INR 5 LPA and INR 3 LPA.
