A stipend to basically GATE candidates is given by the central government. Candidates getting admission at Jadavpur University can also receive stipend from the government of West Bengal and the university fund. Jadavpur University is one of the high-ranked universities for Engineering courses. Thus, candidates need to have a really good GATE score to secure admission in this university. The university prepare a merit list based on candidates GATE score and performance in the interview round (if conducted). Further, aspirants with a GATE score above 630 shall have a good chance of getting a seat. However, the given score is just an expected score as per past years' data and hence, may vary.
