The Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur accepts JEE Advanced score, followed by JEE Advanced counselling process for admission to the BTech courses. As per the IIT Kharagpur cutoff 2023, the Last Round closing rank for BTech ranged between 279 and 10280, among which Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive specialisation. According to the IIT BHU cutoff 2023, the closing ranks were 3358 and 3534, for the General AI category as per the first and last rounds. BTech in Electrical Engineering admission at IIT BHU is done through the JEE Advanced rank, followed by the JoSSA counselling process. Therefore, going by the 2023 cutoff pattern, IIT BHU BTech cutoff 2024, which is to be expected, could be in the range between 3000 and 3500.

IIT BBS cutoff 2025 is yet to be released for admission to the BTech courses across mulitple specialisations. However, going as per the last year cutoff data, candidates can expect the IIT Bhubaneswar Round 1 Seat Allotment for various BTech courses to range between the ranks mentioned below:
- B.Tech. in Electrical and Communication Engineering must range between 4798 and 5157
- B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering must range between 3404 and 3685
- B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering must range between 6505 and 7661

The cut off was 14970 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech + M.Tech in Metallurgical and Materials Engineering in IIT Bhubaneswar - Indian Institute of Technology. For 2023, cut off was 3258 for General category candidates in All India quota for BTech in Computer Science and Engineering in IIT Dhanbad (ISM).
