To get the core BTech branches, such as Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, etc, the SC category students must target a cutoff rank of up to 6585 for admission in Round 1. If you belong to the General AI category, the IIT Kanpur BTech cutoff 2026 ranged from 276 to 10552. Based on the first round closing rank 2026, BTech in CSE was the most competitive for admission with the lowest cutoff rank of 276 in the General category.

IIT BHU BTech cutoff 2026 has been released, wherein the Round 1 closing ranks varied between 1436 and 13991 for General, while for the EWS category, the cutoff ranks were between 245 and 2062. During the IIT BHU JEE Advanced cutoff 2026, the Round 1 closing ranks for BTech core branches, including Civil, Chemical, Electrical and Mechanical Engineering, ranged between 936 and 2245 for the SC category students under the AI quota. Considering the first round cutoff, candidates must target a cutoff rank of up to 2245 and below to get BTech core branches at IIT Varanasi.

IIT BHU cutoff 2026 was released for the first round for admission to the BTech courses based on the students performance in the JEE Advanced exam.
For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 1436 to 13991 for various BTech courses. Among all courses, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the most competitive, with the cutoff being 1436. For students belonging to the General AI quota, most of the BTech branches remained open till the last round for admission at IIT Roorkee. The cutoffs of different branches vary across rounds and categories. Some of the BTech branches, such as CSE, ECE, Civil, and Mechanical, etc., reflected a rise in the last round, closing ranks as compared to initial rounds, indicating IIT Roorkee seats remained vacant till the last round for BTech admission. Whether the branch will remain open till the last round or not depends on the availability of seats allocated for each category. In the meantime, candidates can check out the round-wise cutoff

The JEE Advanced 2025 cutoff of the common rank list is 20.56%; 18.50% for the GEN-EWS rank list and OBC-NCL rank list; 10.28% for SC, ST, and PwD rank lists across all categories; and 5.14% for Preparatory course rank lists.

The IIT Goa BTech cutoff 2026 was released for the first rounds for various All India categories. For the General AI category, the round 1 cutoff ranged from 6448 to 12299. As per this range, B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering was the toughest couse for admission.
