Hi, Admissions to different graduation programs of different branches of engineering in all the IITs are based on the ranking of JEE Advanced. Students also need to give JEE Mains and also obtained marks above the cutoff level to be eligible to appear for JEE Advanced. In addition a student is expected to score at least 75% in the board examination to become eligible for admission into IIT. Best wishes.

Hello,
No absolutely not required. Once you have passed your 12th standard from CBSE that is good enough for or appearing for JEE Advanced. However, a student can not appear to advance directly. The student needs first to clear JEE Mains and octane marks more than cutoff specified then only the student can appear for JEE Advanced. In addition to this, the student must score more than 75% marks in 12th standard for getting admission in any college which is based on JEE Advanced. Best wishes to you.

It's good that you are interested in JEE Mains and advance exam at this age, probably you are in 9th or 10th. If you ask me ( dummy/regular) what is good for individual, I will say both are equally good, it is you who, what is good for you. In dummy inst. They only focus on three subject "PCM" other then u have to do on your own for the 12th board exam. Well, it is good that u can focus only on 3 subject, but then ask yourself will you be able to put extra efforts in those 2 subjects that are in 12th board exam, eligiblity percentage is 75% in board to get in good college. In school there we overall development of your educational and
