Hii Murali,
Hope you are doing good. It completely depends on you. If you are confident that you can sustain the zeal for one more year it is fine you take long term. If not, please avoid. Generally, people lose their interest in the middle and take it very casually. So, consider all these scenarios and decide accordingly.
Hope this helps you. If you have any queries please feel free to ask.

If you become an IIT Graduate, you will get great respect. IITs have high quality classrooms, laboratories, computer centre, Wi-Fi enabled campus. The top benefit is job security. Faculty members are highly qualified and really supportive. Great infrastructure and a lot of extra-curriculum activities. The biggest benefit is that top companies and market giants like ONGC, Google, Microsoft, TCS, Asus, Snapdeals recruit the IITians.

First of all, congratulations for your selection in JEE Mains and as you said, you are going to give JEE advance. So, the first step you will do is to get the course for advance and then study topic wise by YouTube video lectures and don't go in deep. Just take the basics of that particular topic and try to solve the problems in your mind. This will help you in advance.

Both institutes are good. FITJEE Delhi will take syllabus at fast pace while VMC will take slowly. FITJEE Delhi, chemistry faculty is very good. I will prefer you to go for VMC.

You can't improve your math in next one month because it needs lot of practice to understand a concept and way of tackling. Suggest you to go for easy chapters like matrices and determinant, vector, 3D geometry, complex no, PnC & probability.

Hii Latha,
Hope you are doing good. Firstly, congratulations for getting qualified in JEE Mains. It depends on the branch you wish. On average in the worst case I think 35-40% in a tough paper is preferable. Please tell me the branch you wish in IIT Madras so that I could answer you accordingly.
