On Shiksha you have mentioned that you have qualified 10+2 board exam in 2016 so you can attempt JEE Mains and Advanced thrice if your first attempt is in 2016 but as your first attempt is in 2017 you are eligible for JEE Advanced 2018 but this will be your last chance.

You are not eligible for JEE Advanced as you require minimum 75% for getting admission in IITs and NITs. You need to prepare very hard for JEE Mains as it is the only way for you to get admission in the best colleges of India. Good luck.

Hello Zaid,
Your all India rank should be below 5000 or 6000 (for general category) to get an IIT. For other categories, your rank should also be in this range but if it is below 4000, then it would be better.

I would suggest you Hindustan University, Chennai as it is renowned for aeronautical engineering or if you want to do it, go for long term and work hard then you can get in a better IIT. Thank you.

Hello Apan Samanta,
You belong to general category and to get admission in IIT Bombay, computer science, you must be in the top 50 rank holders and based on your marks in JEE Advanced, you will score around 14000 rank. So, it will not be a good chance that you will get admission in IITs. Try for other good colleges.
All the best.

Hello Alok Agnitotri,
You will secure approximately 19000 rank on the basis of marks you have scored. If you belong to SC category, there is some scope, if you belong to general category, you cannot get admission in any IIT. Go for other colleges.
