Umadevi, I suggest that instead of targeting minimum makes, just focus on your preparation if you have yet to give exam next year and try to get on the higher side.

Btw 35000-40000 also depend on your 12 percentage

No u cannt seat in exam from next year due to rule of 75percent.

The cut-offs vary year after year. The reservation is as under :
JEE Main Reserved Seats For Each Categories
Scheduled Tribes (ST): 7.5%
Other Backward Classes (OBC) only Non-Creamy Layer candidates: 27%
Scheduled Castes (SC): 15%
Persons with Disability (PwD): 3%
