With a SC category rank of 3568 in JEE Advanced, you have a decent chance of being able to get into several IITs, though some branches will depend on the cut-off of the year. The branches which you should expect may include Civil Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or Metallurgical Engineering at premier IITs like IIT Delhi, IIT Bombay, IIT Kanpur, or IIT Madras. The new IITs, such as IIT Bhilai, IIT Goa, and IIT Jammu, may still offer good options for core branches like Electrical, Mechanical, or Civil Engineering. The final options will be presented through JoSAA counselling.

There are good chances for getting IIT college but it can be little difficult because of the huge competition among students.

To get into newer IITs, your rank must be higher than 4,500 in JEE Advanced and your rank is higher than that, so you are eligible for IIT.

There are several factors that play a crucial role in admission such as your caste, class 12th score, etc. Some of the colleges which you may get include  IIT Varanasi, IIT Bhubaneshwar, IIT Goa, etc. You have secured a good rank and you will definitely get into any IIT. JEE Advance is one of the toughest exams to crack and you have done well in that.

Eligibility Criteria For Admission in 2024 IITs

A performance score of both board exams and the Joint Entrance Examination-Attempt (JEE) Advanced is indeed the two-time criteria for final judgment entry regarding eligibility for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) in the coming academic year [2024].

You cannot get direct admission to Guru Nanak Dev University (GNDU), Amritsar, into the B.Tech course without appearing for the JEE Main examination. Though admission to B.Tech courses at GNDU is based on the scores secured in the JEE Main entrance exam, merit in the qualifying examination is also given due consideration for some other courses.
However, GNDU does provide admission in some courses on merit only in the qualifying exams. B.Tech is not such course. If you wish to join a different course, which does not involve any entrance exam, then, based on your past performance in academics, you would qualify.

A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced two times in two consecutive years. The candidates who will be appearing for JEE Advanced 2025 for the first time, can also appear for JEE Advanced 2026. Similary, candidates who have attempted JEE Advanced in 2024 for the first time can attempt JEE Advanced 2025.

Is 75% criteria removed from JEE Advanced 2025?  The 75% criteria has not been removed from JEE Advanced 2025. Candidates may not be required to obtain 75% marks to appear for JEE Advanced. However, they do require 75% marks in class 12th at the time of admission to IIT JEE participating institutes.

Yes, you are eligible to appear for JEE Advanced 2025 if you have given an improvement exam in 2024, provided you meet the other eligibility criteria set by the examination authorities. 1. Age Limit: You must be within the age limit specified by the authorities for JEE Advanced 2025.
  2. Number of Attempts: JEE Advanced can be attempted a maximum of two times in consecutive years. Since you appeared in 2023, 2024 will be counted as the second attempt, and you will be eligible for JEE Advanced
