About 60 BTech colleges are accepting JEE Advanced in India. Among these, 39 colleges are owned by public/government organisations and 20 colleges are privately owned. Yes, it is mandatory for a candidate to register through the official JoSAA 2024 online portal to be able to obtain seats to be allocated through JoSAA 2024 in any of the IITs, NITs, IIESTs, IIITs, and Other-GFTIs.

There are two attempts for JEE Advanced. A candidate can attempt JEE Advanced twice in two consecutive years.
Candidates who took the JEE Advanced exam in 2025 can appear again in 2026. Those who will appear for the examn firts time in 2026, will be able to take the exam again in 2027.

The minimum marks required in the JEE Advanced exam to get admission into the IIST Trivandrum BTech programme are given below:

To be eligible for JEE Mains, a minimum of 75% in the 12th board is required. Unfortunately, I regret to inform you that you do not meet the eligibility criteria for JEE Advanced.
