For all participating institutions, JoSAA is in charge of the centralised counselling and seat allocation procedure, which is dependent on the candidates' ranks in either JEE Main or JEE Advanced 2024. JoSAA is used for the whole admissions process, which includes seat assignment, acceptance, and reporting to the designated institute.

The Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) advance changes its examination pattern every year to ensure that the candidates must not generalize the examination pattern and adopt to every new change once in a while. It also ensures that only the best talented and capable minds enter into the IITs, reducing the influence of big coaching institutes. Since the examination pattern is likely to change every year, it is important for the candidate to be well prepared for all types of questions.
To know more about the Joint Entrance Examination, candidates should refer to the official website or Shiksha.
