According to NIELIT Aurangabad JEE Main cutoff 2025, the General AI category cutoff stood between 46118 and 57153. Only CSE and EE cutoffs were published by the institute. Between these two, the highest cutoff possess by BTech in CSE at a Round 3 closing rank of 46118. Likewise, for the OBC AI category, CSE remained the most competitive course at a closing rank of 18150.

There are around 360 colleges in India where you can pursue the BTech Chemical Engineering course, out of which around 232 are private colleges, 117 are owned by the government, and the remaining are public-private. Several entrance exams can be undertaken for admission to the course, and the JEE Main entrance tops the list, with almost 188 colleges accepting the respective exam score.

The competition is quite high for the course, and Lacs of applicants give the JEE Main exam every year. So, it is very important for you to prepare really well and get excellent marks there.

With 60 marks in JEE Mains and belonging to the ST category, you are above the qualifying cutoff for your category, which is around 47.9 marks this year. In Chhattisgrah, you can apply to NIT Raipur and other state engineering colleges. You may have a good chance in core branches like Civil, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering at NIT Raipur, expecially through the home state and category quota.

With this score, you cannot get any government college but you are applicable for every private college in Kerala. But you have to choose a private college very seriously because this decides your future. A college with a better campus and alumni, you can get a good package from a company and also it helps in your startup funding 

With a JEE Mains percentile of 73.4 and a TNEA cutoff of 172 (MBC), getting AI and Data Science at top universities like SASTRA or Amrita in Tamil Nadu is challenging. SASTRA's cutoff for CSE and realetd branches are much higher, often requiring a much better JEE rank or a higher +2 aggregate. However, you can still apply through Stream 2 at SASTRA (based on +2 marks), but competition is tough. Consider applying to other private universities in Tamil Nadu such as SRM University, Sathyabama University, and Vel Tech, which accept JEE Main scores and where cutoffs may be more flexible for your scores.

After reading that you got only 52.6 score in JEE Mains I was shocked and you are expecting a seat in NIT but after knowing you belong to SC category then I can answer. With a 52.6 score in JEE Mains and SC category, chances of NIT admission are low but possible in lower-ranked NITs or less preferred branches under home state quota. Cutoffs vary yearly, so apply through JoSAA counselling, keep options wide, and also consider IIITs, GFTIs, or state colleges.
