Branch and category matter here. You might score a seat in Civil or Mechanical Engineering at some NITs or find a fit in less competitive branches like Biotechnology. Don't forget to leverage home state quota or explore less popular NITs - they might just be your ticket in!

A score of 166 in JEE Mains Session 2 would likely translate to a percentile between 98.04+ and 98.14+, based on various analyses and predictions. The exact percentile may vary slightly depending on the difficulty level of the specific paper you took compared to the overall JEE Mains exam.
General estimate:
A score of 166 generally falls within the range of 98.04 to 98.14 percentile.
Difficulty level:
If your specific paper was considered on the easier side, your percentile might be closer to the lower end of that range. If your paper was considered more challenging, your percentile could be closer to the higher end

A JEE Main is not always required to take admission in B.Tech at Amity University. On the one hand, it is accepted and can result in your getting scholarships or direct admissions, but 12 th grade marks are important. The aggregate eligibility students need is aggregate of above 60 percent in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry andMath/Biology (55 percent in the case of sponsored category). Amity too holds the Amity JEE entrances tests. But when you are having good 12 th Board result (e.g. 80% or more) or you have got good score in JEE main (e.g.30+ score with 60% in PCM/PCB), then you may be having direct admission without touching Amity JEE

Having a high JEE Main CRL of 301, 136 and a PwD rank of 527 as a Delhi homestate candidate, the chances of making it to CS, IT or ECE at NSUT will be heavily undermined, with reservation or not. Though NSUT participated in the 50 % seats against All India candidates Persons with Disability (PwD), they only hold a quota of 5 per cent in the Delhi region so the cut offs of such popular branches are highly competitive even in the reserved category. Previous year PwD specific cut-offs are different and you should refer to the official JAC Delhi counselling site to get the same.

Congratulations to the son on his unique Jee Mains 2025 percent 99,9987893 - This is an extraordinary score and is one of the best 150-200 candidates across the country!
In this ranking, your son is also a strong challenger for Iit -through Jee Advanced. If he performs well in JEE Advanced 2025, Iit Bombay CSE, IIT Delhi CSE or Iit Kanpur may be possible.
But when it comes to nit, it can easily secure the best NIT + best branch combination.
If you want personal consultation, tell me about their category, home state and branch preference.
