The JEE Main cut-off of Government Engineering College, Bhuj (GEC Bhuj) is different according to the programme and category. In the case of 2024, General Homes State ranking generally varied between 34,000 and 50,000 with Mechanical and Chemical boasting higher thresholds. The All India Quota in 2025 round 1 was between 7,728-31545. The lower the rankings the better the performance. Such cutoffs vary every year and the most accurate information is available in official sources at ACPC Gujarat.

Yes, it is possible to get admission to Patel College of Science and Technology (PCST), Bhopal for the B.E./B.Tech programme without JEE Main, although it may depend on the specific course and admission criteria for that year. PCST Bhopal does offer admission based on merit, meaning your 12th-grade scores could be a factor. Some students may also be admitted based on entrance exams other than JEE Main, or through lateral entry into the second year after completing a relevant Diploma or B.Sc. degree.

admission at Laxmi Institute of Technology without JEE Main, as long as you:

  • Have passed 10+2 with at least 45% in PCM (40% for reserved categories),

  • Appeared in GUJCET in the same year,

  • Apply through Gujarat's ACPC counselling—about 50% seats are state quota and 50% institute quota, some filled via GUJCET merit.

Yes, you can potentially get admission to the B.E./B.Tech courses at Government Engineering College, Bhuj without JEE Main, but it depends on the specific admission criteria. While JEE Main is a common, Government Engineering College Bhuj also considers GUJCET scores and merit based on class 12th and GUJCET scores.

Yes, you can definitely get admission to VVP Engineering College's B.E./B.Tech course without writing JEE Main — admission is primarily based on GUJCET plus Class?12 PCM marks, processed through Gujarat's ACPC counselling system. A valid GUJCET score and decent board marks (typically ?45%) are good enough .

The expected counselling rounds for the JEE Main counselling process could be conducted in 6 rounds going as per last year's counselling process. All candidates with a valid JEE Main score are eligible to participate in JoSSA for admission to various BTech courses. The counselling process includes registration, online filling and locking of choices, seat allotment, where students can choose between freeze, float or slide option, after which verification of documents is required and physical reporting to the allotted institution.

JEE Main 2025 first session result released on April 18, 2025 and second session result released on May 23, 2025. Dev Bhoomi Group of Institutions use this both the results to evaluate candidates for various programs, including B.Tech, BBA etc.  as part of their admission process. The JEE main scores are really important to give student admissions for specific courses.
