Hello,
Hope you are doing well. No, you are not allowed to get NITs with 152 marks and 64.8% in CBSE because you are from general category and your marks do not satisfy NITs cut-off offered for general category. You can try for some other colleges which accept JEE Mains paper 2 score and ranks.
NITs won't be possible for you.
All the best.

Chandigarh College of Architecture is a prestigious college and there are only a couple of seats there for outside quota.
You have to score something above 265 to secure a seat there through JEE B.Arch paper. This may not be possible for you to take admission in this college.

No, don't drop a year just for JEE Mains. Drop only if you are targeting JEE Advance and if you want IITs. Still if you are confident enough that you can do very well in JEE Mains next year and are sure to get top NITs, then only drop the year otherwise it's a waste of time.

If you want to qualify JEE Mains then it is not necessary to take coaching. But if you are targeting JEE Advance and have taken a year's drop for only IITs then you should go for coaching. Preparation for JEE Mains is not that difficult. It just requires consistency and sitting hours. Focus thoroughly on class 11th and 12th.
