Hello Shreyash,
Getting rank below is surely not a function of studying for 12th. Though the syllabus for JEE Mains as well as JEE Advanced is that of CBSE syllabus for 12th, the way questioned are asked is totally different. You must know the concepts and should be able to apply these principals logically in solving questions. After all someone this year has scored 100%, so it's definitely possible.

Hello Aman!
No. JEE is an all India examination which would provide you an opportunity to study engineering in the prestigious Institutes like NITs and IITs.
But it is not compulsory.
You may also go for other universities like BITS-Pilani, VIT, etc. by clearing the respective exams or a better college with your board exam marks.
All the best!

Dear,
I think dropping a year is not a good idea until you are confident enough to achieve your target. And whenever ensuring is under a question mark, you should keep strong backup circuit ready and the only important task is to make your sincere efforts double for pursuing both i.e. preparation for the entrance exam as well as study for ongoing B.Sc. course. Difficult but not impossible.
Best wishes.

Hi there,
I have the same resolutions and I'll also give my SAT in 2019. Here's what you should do; if you are a resident of Delhi, you are lucky. Just join Vidyamandir Classes or FIITJEE-South Delhi and do not attend school. Simultaneously, work on your vocabulary and get enrolled in the Princeton review at New Delhi.
