It is too for early to think on package. No company uses JEE score to decide on package. Package depends on the branch, institute and performance in academics and selection process.

With this rank you will sure get almost all the IIITs but there are less chances in top NITs as per last year cutoff.

If you appeared for JEE in 2016 and improvement in 2017 then last chance to appear for JEE is 2018.

Government colleges in West Bengal do not accept JEE Mains scor5e. They conduct their own exam called WBJEE, so you have to score good marks in WBJEE to get admission here.

It will be very difficult for you to get into NIT, Durgapur at this rank. You should try government colleges in Madhya Pradesh and Uttarakhand. I think you may get one there.

Hello Rajat,
As the cutoff drops the minimum rank may be lower than last year but it will also increase the no of students applying to Madhya Pradesh counselling, so overall there will be not any major difference in the cutoff of SGSITS.
