Being ranked 2,88,000 and 80 percentile in JEE Mains, getting into MBM Jodhpur might be difficult, as cutoff ranks for the most sought-after branches such as Computer Science and Mechanical Engineering are quite low. Your chances will be better though if you belong to the reserved category, or if there are vacant seats in the state quota for students from Rajasthan. Since you said you have an 89.6 percentile in RBSE 12th you can also consider state-level counseling or management quota, which might be beneficial in terms of opportunities It's also better to keep yourself abreast of the official counseling process and go through last yea

Having AIR of 604,826 and SC category rank of 45,093 in JEE Mains, Computer Science Engineering (CSE) or any specialisation in NIT, IIIT, or GFTI seat cannot be attained. Cut-offs for CSE in top NITs and IIITs are usually well below this rank, and it is highly competitive. But you may have chances in some lower or newer IIITs, NITs or GFTIs in other streams of engineering. You should have choices to consider other courses or state-level engineering colleges, private institutes, or alternate options like management quota seats to have better probability. Keep looking at the JoSAA counseling rounds for any update.

Yes, you can appear for JEE Mains 2025 even if you are appearing for an improvement exam in one subject. The National Testing Agency (NTA) permits students appearing for improvement exams to apply for JEE Mains. Yet, for counseling and admission purposes, you should clear the improvement exam and be eligible before the final result declaration. Make sure that your marks and percentage criteria are fulfilled before the cutoff dates to qualify for the counseling and subsequent admission process. Keep a record of important dates to avoid missing deadlines.

Yes, you can appear for JEE Mains 2025 even if you are taking an improvement exam in one subject as long as you fulfill the overall eligibility requirements. National Testing Agency (NTA) permits candidates to apply for JEE Mains while appearing for improvement exams. But to be considered for the counseling process and admission, you need to clear the improvement exam with the minimum marks and achieve the minimum aggregate percentage at the time of the final result declaration. Make sure you fulfill the eligibility criteria before the final admission date for counseling and seat allotment.

By having an EWS category rank of 2000 in JEE Mains, you have a decent possibility of securing Computer Science in few NITs or any state-level engineering institutions. Depending upon the cutoff, you may also be able to get into NITs like NIT Jamshedpur or NIT Nagaland. Looking at previous year cutoffs to have a clear picture will be very helpful.

Considering 88 percentile in JEE Mains and also OBC category, you will be able to take admission in many colleges in Uttar Pradesh for B.Tech. HBTU Kanpur, KIET Ghaziabad, and SRM University-Delhi NCR are among those. But, as it largely varies with branch and respective college's cutoff, you should check the trends of last year of college and respective branchwise cutoffs to get a reliable idea.

With a JEE Mains rank of 5 lakh, entry into good NITs or IITs is really impossible, especially for competitive streams. But still, you can choose to take good private and semi-government colleges:

1. Shiv Nadar University, Greater Noida – Offers good B.Tech courses with acceptable placement figures.
2. UPES Dehradun – Known for engineering and technology courses, offering exposure to the industry
3. Chandigarh University Provides various engineering courses with good campus placement
4. Manipal University Jaipur - For its B.Tech programs and campus infrastructure
5. VIT Bhopal For its quality education and placement in various fields of

With a 91.22% percentile and an open-EWS rank of 21974 in JEE Mains, you might be able to secure admission to a good engineering college in Maharashtra, but likely not one of the absolute top-ranked institutions like IIT Bombay or ICT Mumbai; you may be able to get into a reputed private college or a lower-ranked government college depending on your branch preference and the specific cutoff for the college and course you choose.
